A two-part day for the site, between a major new feature and a clear regain in speed. The big announcement of the day is the web security map of French town halls: it covers the 34,875 municipalities of the territory, drawn on an official map background updated this year, and shows for each one the official town hall website, the technology that powers it, and the associated risk level. Two ways to read it: Score mode, which colors each municipality according to the reliability of its website, and Source mode, which indicates where the information comes from. In parallel, the site has regained its liveliness: announcement, company, and person fact sheets now open in a few tenths of a second, including in the morning, when the day's data arrives and the site works behind the scenes. Visual elements are kept longer by your browser, and advertising indicators only load when you interact with the page. Concretely, reading is smoother on both mobile and desktop, and pages flow without waiting, even on modest connections. These improvements are the result of a long day of work: the map's sources were verified one by one, fake official websites were set aside, data was aligned with the official directory of municipalities, and fact sheets were restored after a series of technical errors that made them inaccessible. It is this behind-the-scenes work, invisible to the visitor, that makes today so rich: a new public page, safer data, and a faster site for everyone. A day of fine-tuning focused on speed and clarity. Articles on the site now open almost instantly, images are lighter, and city pages display a single navigation trail. The site remains fully available to everyone, during quiet hours and busy hours alike.

• Articles and news now open almost instantly: the site prepares them in advance, instead of composing them on each visit.
• Article illustration images are lighter on mobile: they arrive in a few kilobytes instead of several dozen, with no loss of sharpness.
• City pages (regions then departments then municipalities) display a single navigation trail, under the title: no more duplicate above the header.
• News and records respond in a few milliseconds, even when many visitors view the same pages.

A day with 10,095 announcements, marked by a stress test: reading bots crossed the site by the millions, and it came out faster than before. Account filings represent 5,703 notices, creations 1,670, modifications 1,484, and removals 677. The database was also checked month by month, from January 2008 to August 2026, with zero discrepancy at every step. The daily summary is complete and opens in a flash.

• Site pages now load in a few tenths of a second, even when reading bots pass through by the millions: the August 21 summary, which used to take over thirty seconds, now opens in a flash.
• Announcement, company, and person records are cached on the network side: the first visitor waits for the computation time, subsequent visitors are served immediately.
• Announcement search no longer returns errors: overly heavy requests are limited so the site remains available for everyone.
• Clicking Search without criteria now displays results directly, even after a page reload.

A day with 18,005 notices, one of the busiest of the week: account filings dominate with 14,362 notices, ahead of 1,887 creations, 792 modifications and 441 collective proceedings. Business security was checked one by one, mail sent from the site became reliable end to end, and data was reorganized for faster performance. The daily recap is online, with its 35 frequently asked questions and the post published on X.

• The site map is accessible again at the root: search engines find all pages again, and its update date is preserved.
• Legal pages (terms, privacy, notices) now display in the visitor's language: no more raw technical text in the other 19 languages.
• The August 20 recap is online: 18,005 notices summarized, the daily post on X and 5 frequently asked questions per category.
• Companies not published by INSEE no longer display a website that is not theirs in security reports: only actually identified sites reappear, under their real name.

A day of continuity and conclusion: the security monitoring opened yesterday now extends to all types of sites, and social sharing, a project announced two days ago, finally shows the right image. Website verification now covers Drupal, Joomla, PrestaShop and Magento, not just WordPress, and relies on official catalogs of known vulnerabilities, updated daily: thousands of flaws are already covered. All 241 companies whose site has a critical flaw have an accessible report page, and each new discovery creates its own without exception. On the sharing side, each comparison page has its dedicated image, and the preview format has been fixed so that WhatsApp, LinkedIn and messaging apps finally display them: when you paste a link in a conversation, you see the right image, the one from the shared page. The BODACC summary for the day is online with its 20,291 notices summarized in 20 languages. Reliability is also improving: 128 old addresses that led to an error page now redirect to the correct page, the company search counter matches the displayed list, which is reassuring when a name is rare, and the security reports page opens instantly, even on first load, regardless of the device used. Behind the scenes, the monitoring never acts on real sites, and message reception is continuously monitored, so that no visitor sign goes unnoticed. This day sums up our approach: every project opened this week advances one step, and each step is visible on a site page, viewable by all. Here is the detail of what changed.
