Privacy Policy
Version 1.0 — Dernière mise à jour : 17 août 2026
1. Data collected
As part of your use of BODACC.io, we process the following data: (a) account data you provide (name, email address, preferences); (b) service usage data (pages viewed, searches); (c) public data aggregated by the service: legal notices, company identification data (SIREN, names, addresses, directors, representatives) and professional contact details (website addresses, professional emails and phone numbers), collected from official and public sources.
2. Use of data
Your data is used to: provide and improve the BODACC.io service, personalize your experience, send you notifications related to your alerts and subscriptions, ensure platform security and prevent abuse. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
3. Data sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. Your data may be disclosed to competent authorities as part of legal obligations. Anonymized and aggregated data (usage statistics) may be shared publicly.
4. Your GDPR rights
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, portability, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time. For personal data collected indirectly (Article 14 GDPR — individuals mentioned in legal notices and registries: directors, managers, liquidators, representatives), you notably have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest, including the listing of your professional contact details. Requests are processed within 30 days.
5. Cookies
BODACC.io uses cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the service (authentication, language preferences). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. You can configure your cookie preferences in your browser settings.
6. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, modification, disclosure, or destruction. Connections to our platform are encrypted via TLS/SSL. Passwords are stored securely using hashing algorithms.
7. Data retention
Account data is kept for the duration of your active account, then deleted when the account is closed. Usage data is kept for a maximum of 24 months. Public data (legal notices and company records) is kept as long as it remains published by the official sources; aggregated professional contact details are reviewed when records are updated. Anyone may request early erasure or object to the processing at any time (see sections 4 and 10).
8. Contact
For any question regarding data protection: [email protected]. Data Protection Officer (DPO): [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (French data protection authority).
9. Data collected indirectly (Article 14 GDPR)
As part of its information mission, BODACC.io processes personal data concerning individuals who are not users of the service: directors, managers, liquidators, representatives and other persons mentioned in legal notices and official registries (INSEE, commercial and company registry, BODACC/DILA), as well as professional contact details (emails, phone numbers, websites) associated with companies. This data comes exclusively from official and public sources, in accordance with Article 14 GDPR: the processing is based on BODACC.io's legitimate interest in informing the public about the economic and legal life of companies, balanced against your rights. Data subjects may object to this processing at any time (section 10).
10. Objection and erasure
If you are an individual mentioned on BODACC.io (director, manager, representative…) and wish to object to the processing of your data, request its erasure or rectification, write to [email protected] stating your name, role and the company concerned. We will process your request within 30 days and stop referencing the data concerned, subject to legal publication obligations: legal notices are public documents of which BODACC.io is the distributor, not the publisher.
